Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to get married?
To be legally married in the State of Nevada, you must purchase a marriage license and have a marriage ceremony performed. The fee for the license is $55.00. The marriage license must be purchased in person in the Marriage License Bureau in either Reno or Incline Village.

Where do I get my marriage license?
Just a couple blocks south of the Antique Angel Wedding Chapel, at the Courthouse located at 75 Court Street.

When can I get my license?
The marriage license may be obtained up to one year prior to the ceremony. The Marriage License Bureau is open from 8 AM to midnight, every day of the week. Both the bride and groom will need to be present with a photo ID. We encourage you to get your license several days before your wedding. Just drop it off at the chapel when you get the license--and then you won't have to worry about losing it or forgetting it on your wedding day!

How much is my wedding going to cost?
Please use our pricelist (this link will open a .pdf) as a guide. We charge for the ceremony according to number of guests that attend.

What kind of ceremony do you do?
The ceremony is on the traditional side. It usually brings at least one person to tears! The ceremony includes exchanging of vows and exchanging of rings. You can also add a Unity Candle ceremony or Dedication Rose. You may make minor adjustments to the ceremony. Just let us know before your wedding day what you had in mind.
